Coaching specifically adapted for Women

What about women you might ask? How does training for women differ from training for men? Why can't I train like man?

Women have a different physiology than men, yet many coaches, and even women themselves, know little about this. Most people just assume that having the period is an inconvenience for training and racing and that's it. It couldn't be further from the truth. Instead, you can use your cycle to your advantage and I would like to empower you with this knowledge and work together with you to optimise your training.

Women's monthly cycle mean that hormones fluctuate throughout the month. This in turn affects things like mood, energy levels, core temperature, metabolism and exercise performance. Therefore, what constitutes optimal forms of training and diet varies through different phases of the cycle.

Perimenopausal and menopausal women also have specific challenges.

I have a great interest in supporting women to be their best and to adapt their training to suit their needs and to be in sync with their cycle. 

If you are a woman and if you are up for trying to optimise your training whilst you are being coached by me, I offer an option for you to track your cycle in a free app. I will be able to access the data through a coach platform and can then tailor your training programme based on where you are in your cycle and the symptoms and notes you record. 

It requires a small effort from you, but in return you learn more about your body and together we can work more effectively to optimise your training, diet and performance.
